 We are seeking a Biologist /pharmacologist to support our preclinical programs by developing, optimizing, troubleshooting and performing cell-based assays and other in vitro biological assays. 

Specifically:

1.  Develop and perform cell-based assays, ELISA assays, etc.

2.  Compile and analyze data using common data graphing software (GraphPad Prism and Excel), summarizing assay results with statistical analyses in written reports.

3.  Organize and present research data at departmental and project meetings.

1. Excellent technical skills in cellular biology with expertise in cell-based assays development and optimization (proliferation assays) are required, prior experience with primary cells is a plus.

2. Able to process, analyze and interpret data critically and independently.

3. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Graph Pad Prism or similar data analysis software is a plus.

4. Self-motivated, able to multi-task and plan schedule to meet timelines.

5. A minimum of:

    * a BS in Biology/Biochemistry or related major plus 3-5 years related biotech experience

    * or an MS with1-3 years experience.
